Casa de Esperanza: September 2010 Update

What a difference some drywall and paint can make! As September wraps up, so are we in completing the Casa de Esperanza!

The walls are painted, the bathroom ceramic is completed and the wood floors are waiting for final sanding and sealing.

We would like to thank our new friend Adrian Cozariuc from A&R Flooring and Remodeling for coming along side and helping us with the floors. We met Adrian on the first day of this project when the demolition took place. Adrian never stopped working that day and came to us at the end and said he would like to donate all of the labor to repair the sub floors and install the hardwood floors.

As you can tell by the pictures Adrian went above and beyond the call of duty. Adrian took the time to cut custom in lays into the floors which once finished will look amazing! By going this extra effort this won’t finish up as just a newly renovated home, it will be an impressive newly renovated home and a blessing to all that move in!

MSC thanks Adrian for his great work!

Within the next few weeks the kitchens, doors, trim and window coverings will be completed with new tenants scheduled to move in sometime in November!

Our Mission

Mitchell Swaback Charities was started October 15th, 2004. Our purpose is to continue to impact individuals, organizations and families as Mitch has done so many times. We want to continue Mitch's compassion to serve in missions, the church and to honor God in the way Mitch did on a daily basis. We will continue to form partnerships that will allow us to expand our ministry.

Through the many opportunities that surround us, we look forward to making a difference.

We will honor the Lord in all we do. Learn more >>

Mitch's Story

For 23 years our son Mitch etched memories into the hearts of everyone he met. He was as real as they come. What he meant to us and to so many others now belongs to the legacy we will cherish forever.

At Mitch's going-home service Pastor James MacDonald used one word that best described Mitch: "Maximum." Read more >>
