Seven Years in Heaven: August 14, 2004
It’s hard to believe that Mitch has been in Heaven for seven years, for us it seems just like yesterday. Time goes by so fast…Mitch’s niece and nephew whom he never had the chance to meet are now three and five, Mitch’s Papa Ralph and Granny Hope are in Heaven with him. It seems like there’s never enough time to do the important things in life. Mitch got it! He made the most of his time while here on earth always stepping up to help others. At the age of twenty-three Mitch leaves behind a legacy that many will never forget, this young man made a difference in so many lives and that’s what we’re encouraging you to do as well. Let’s use our years left, no matter what our age, to finish strong and do our part to make a difference where it’s needed most. Because of Mitch, Mitchell Swaback Charities have been impacting lives for almost seven years. This year in partnership with Harvest Bible Chapel North Phoenix we opened the Harvest Compassion Center that serves the community by supplying food and clothing to many families that are hurting. We have also helped many other ministries and organizations through grants and building projects. Nobody can do it all, but if each one does their part and gets involved this would be a different world in which we live in. We know Mitch is in Heaven, and someday soon we’ll see him again, until that day comes it’s our desire to keep serving and making a difference just as Mitch had.
“Even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:28
