Where Does Your MSC Donation Really Go?

After being forwarded an email about salaries earned by top charity CEO’s and Presidents, we were a bit shocked and decided to do some online searching of our own. We concluded that many of the world’s largest public charities compensate their top leaders with six figure salaries with added yearly bonuses. Also, when they are asked to step down or leave the organization many receive severance packages again reaching six figures. According to Forbes Online Magazine who ranked the top 10 highest paid Charity CEO’s in 2009, several big names made the list United Way, Red Cross, and Salvation Army for example. We’re confident each of these organizations does great work for their cause, however a large portion of funds raise are paid to salary employees. Why do we bring this fact up? Because we’re accountable to you, our donors and strive to be good stewards of the money we receive! We want you to know that MSC has no paid employees and 100% of donations go directly to our projects. We aren’t discouraging you to give to other ministries and charities that do very important work; we are simply assuring each and every partner of MSC that we have the highest responsibility when it comes to handling your donation!

Our Mission

Mitchell Swaback Charities was started October 15th, 2004. Our purpose is to continue to impact individuals, organizations and families as Mitch has done so many times. We want to continue Mitch's compassion to serve in missions, the church and to honor God in the way Mitch did on a daily basis. We will continue to form partnerships that will allow us to expand our ministry.

Through the many opportunities that surround us, we look forward to making a difference.

We will honor the Lord in all we do. Learn more >>

Mitch's Story

For 23 years our son Mitch etched memories into the hearts of everyone he met. He was as real as they come. What he meant to us and to so many others now belongs to the legacy we will cherish forever.

At Mitch's going-home service Pastor James MacDonald used one word that best described Mitch: "Maximum." Read more >>
