Giving THANKS on THANKSGIVING
This past Thanksgiving morning 10 MSC volunteers made the effort to first serve others before consuming themselves with turkey and football! MSC would like to thank Bob Swaback, Jose Gonzalez, and Ernie Recsetar for driving out early to pick up 100 fully cooked turkey meals for HCC volunteers to pass out to the community. Skyway Church of the West Valley in Anthem, AZ gathered 300 volunteers to make approximately 2,000 meals, and then sent invitations to several other churches, organizations, and shelters to make sure they were handed out and enjoyed. Volunteers at the HCC handed out many meals then got in their cars and drove around passing out the rest, literally bringing “Thanksgiving to everyone!”
