Jeremy Camp Live in Concert

Jeremy Camp Live in Concert

A sold-out crowd of 2300 individuals filled Harvest Bible Chapel in Rolling Meadows, Illinois on June 23rd, 2006 for the first sponsored MSF concert featuring Steve Wiggins and Big Tent Revival and nationally acclaimed recording artist Jeremy Camp. MSF couldn't be more proud of the successful night we shared with so many of you. It took well over a 100 volunteers to host this concert that raised over $65,000 to help fund the Mitchell Swaback Athletic Center in Elgin, Illinois.

Pastor James MacDonald of Harvest Bible Chapel opened the concert with Mitch's journal in hand explaining to the crowd the reason why we were there that evening and a short video shared a glimpse into Mitch's life. The MSF video also shared with the audience the mission of this foundation and challenged them to not sit back but to get involved! Jeremy's heart for the Lord and this outreach came through clearly as he shared how humbled he was by Mitch's life and the vision of MSF.

Steve reunited with his former band to open the evening and Jeremy followed captivating the audience with his story and enthusiasm. Jeremy Camp and his band not only performed an energy-filled show, but challenged all of those who didn't know Jesus Christ to reach out for Him.

MSF would like to thank Steve Wiggins, Big Tent Revival, Jeremy Camp, Harvest Bible Chapel and all the volunteers for all they did to accomplish a night that we will be sure to repeat!

Our Mission

Mitchell Swaback Charities was started October 15th, 2004. Our purpose is to continue to impact individuals, organizations and families as Mitch has done so many times. We want to continue Mitch's compassion to serve in missions, the church and to honor God in the way Mitch did on a daily basis. We will continue to form partnerships that will allow us to expand our ministry.

Through the many opportunities that surround us, we look forward to making a difference.

We will honor the Lord in all we do. Learn more >>

Mitch's Story

For 23 years our son Mitch etched memories into the hearts of everyone he met. He was as real as they come. What he meant to us and to so many others now belongs to the legacy we will cherish forever.

At Mitch's going-home service Pastor James MacDonald used one word that best described Mitch: "Maximum." Read more >>
