First Annual Golf Outing

First Annual Golf Outing

Our 1st Annual Golf Outing was a "Hole in One!"

We would like to thank each individual that joined us for our 1st Annual MSF Golf Outing Fundraiser.  We had 108 men golfers and 1 woman golfer thanks to Judy Moe.  Ladies, we'd love to see you on the green next year!  We also had another 75 individuals come for dinner and auction only.

Our sponsors for this year's outing had a huge impact in helping us reach our financial goals.  We thank the following for their partnership:

Platinum: Glenview State bank, Harvest Bible Chapel, Northwest Electric and Just Rite Acoustics, Inc.

Gold: Career Concepts, USA and Chicago Metallic Corporation

First Hole Sponsor: Dominic and Joanna White

Our Silent and Live auctions: raised $30,000.00

The total amount raised for the foundation was $45,000.00

All funds raised will go towards initial construction for the first home of the children's orphanage in Lima, Peru and towards the second construction phase at The Tabitha House.

We would also like to thank all the volunteers and all the vendors that donated items for this year's auction.  These individuals made this day possible.

Our program consisted of Jeff Harbeck, Mitch's cousin and best friend, sharing a few words and showing a short video of who Mitch was.  Brad Swaback, MSF Board Member, shared the vision of The Mitchell Swaback Foundation and a video from our 1st Extreme MakeOver at The Tabitha House.  James MacDonald, Senior Pastor of Harvest Bible Chapel, closed the program with a clear picture of what salvation is.

We look forward to seeing you at next years outing.

Please contact Bob Swaback at rswaback@mitchellswabackfoundation.org if you would like any copies of pictures from the golf outing or copies of the DVD's that were shown.

Our Mission

Mitchell Swaback Charities was started October 15th, 2004. Our purpose is to continue to impact individuals, organizations and families as Mitch has done so many times. We want to continue Mitch's compassion to serve in missions, the church and to honor God in the way Mitch did on a daily basis. We will continue to form partnerships that will allow us to expand our ministry.

Through the many opportunities that surround us, we look forward to making a difference.

We will honor the Lord in all we do. Learn more >>

Mitch's Story

For 23 years our son Mitch etched memories into the hearts of everyone he met. He was as real as they come. What he meant to us and to so many others now belongs to the legacy we will cherish forever.

At Mitch's going-home service Pastor James MacDonald used one word that best described Mitch: "Maximum." Read more >>

For you are my rock and my fortress; and for your name's sake you lead me and guide me.
