Fifth Annual Golf Outing Wrap Up

On June 15th 2009 MSF had its 5th Annual Golf Outing, Auction and Dinner.  It was quite a blessing for us to see how many people came out to support the foundation.  The day started off with a shotgun start of 80 golfers teeing off.  Former Chicago Bear, Glen Kozlowski, came out to support us by spending time with each of the foursomes out on the course.  Although rain had plagued the week before, Monday turned out to be a perfect day for the course! After golf finished up our silent auction began with 303 items to be auction off.  After serving 200 for dinner, MC Bob Arosen started the live auction.  Once again Bob didn't disappoint his audience as many laughs were shared as he auctioned off 10 items.  This year MSF hosted live entertainment by "Splat Experience."  Choreographed to music an artist, using only his bare hands, painted an 8 x 8 portrait of Jesus in approximately five minutes.  The artist held the room's attention as he layered his painting and his image took shape. The evening ended with Pastor James MacDonald from Harvest Bible Chapel reminding us once again the true meaning of salvation.

MSF is pleased to announce total revenue from our sponsors, golfers, silent and live auctions raised over $55,000.00!  Every penny raised this day will go directly to fund our projects.  Because of individuals like you, we are able to continue to support Mitch's foundation and our many projects.

We would like to thank our Corporate Sponsors, Hole Sponsors, volunteers and guests for making this day a success!

Our Mission

Mitchell Swaback Charities was started October 15th, 2004. Our purpose is to continue to impact individuals, organizations and families as Mitch has done so many times. We want to continue Mitch's compassion to serve in missions, the church and to honor God in the way Mitch did on a daily basis. We will continue to form partnerships that will allow us to expand our ministry.

Through the many opportunities that surround us, we look forward to making a difference.

We will honor the Lord in all we do. Learn more >>

Mitch's Story

For 23 years our son Mitch etched memories into the hearts of everyone he met. He was as real as they come. What he meant to us and to so many others now belongs to the legacy we will cherish forever.

At Mitch's going-home service Pastor James MacDonald used one word that best described Mitch: "Maximum." Read more >>
