Wrap It Up! Christmas Outreach 2010

MSC’s Christmas Outreach 2010 was a success! Because of your donations and faithful volunteers MSC created 50 ‘care bags’ for the mom’s and babies of Maggie’s Place. Maggie’s Place is a new partner of MSC and was thrilled to receive the Christmas ‘care bags’ for its’ residents. Maggie’s Place is a women’s home for pregnant moms-to-be who are homeless and/or have nowhere else to turn during a very important time in their life. Maggie’s Place has three homes within the Phoenix area and are always filled to capacity serving each mom with health services, counseling, education, employment and most importantly a secure home environment. Plus, Maggie’s Place continues to serve over 400 mothers and their children who were once part of the Maggie’s Place family.

Each current mom and newborn received a bag of essentials including diapers, wipes, bottles, toys, books, socks, journal & pen, lotion, body wash, and a gift card to Wal-mart. On Christmas night MSC’s volunteers delivered the bags to one of the homes and later each mom received their gifts. The mom’s weren’t expecting this special treat and were truly honored to receive it.

All of us at MSC want to extend a special thank you to Seth & Lori Kleeberger, Chance & Jo Leonard, Damian & Cassie Thompson, Jimmy & Suzanne Philbrook, and Jeff Fine for helping with this project. Thank you also to all our donors who sent in a special gift towards blessing others during the Christmas season. You are the reason why we are able to continue to bless others with the love of the Lord. Happy New Year!

Our Mission

Mitchell Swaback Charities was started October 15th, 2004. Our purpose is to continue to impact individuals, organizations and families as Mitch has done so many times. We want to continue Mitch's compassion to serve in missions, the church and to honor God in the way Mitch did on a daily basis. We will continue to form partnerships that will allow us to expand our ministry.

Through the many opportunities that surround us, we look forward to making a difference.

We will honor the Lord in all we do. Learn more >>

Mitch's Story

For 23 years our son Mitch etched memories into the hearts of everyone he met. He was as real as they come. What he meant to us and to so many others now belongs to the legacy we will cherish forever.

At Mitch's going-home service Pastor James MacDonald used one word that best described Mitch: "Maximum." Read more >>
