As I was working out in February I felt so empty as I realized my workouts had no lasting purpose or goal insight. Yes, I had a goal to keep my heart healthy and keep my weight down, but I had no real goal. It was later in the week I heard about how MSC was looking for people to run the half marathon to raise support. I quickly nixed the idea since I had never ran over 4 miles in my life. Seriously, how could I even attempt to run 13 miles at my age and actually finish the race.
As the weeks went on I knew I needed to commit to the race and I could do it with correct coaching and God's strength. What a great goal - run to raise money to help further the kingdom of God!! It is with great honor and joy I am now running the Half Marathon for the MSC. Mitch was a very special person to me and my husband Jamie. We have so many special memories with him. Mitch first and most of all loved God and his heart was one that sought God in all. My husband and I truly believe in the ministry of MSC and all that it has done to touch so many people's lives for Christ. Please join us in supporting the ministry.

I know economically times are tough so if it is only a $1 a mile, $10 a mile, $20 a mile or whatever - please help as the Lord lays on your heart. 100% of the money goes to projects.
