I have been looking for an opportunity to begin to train and get back into shape, and here it is! It is a privilege and honor to be able to run for MSC and support in a small way, a great organization that has done so many great things for so many. I work as the Athletic Director at Harvest Christian Academy, and am constantly reminded of the passion and fire that Mitch Swaback had for Christ everyday I walk into the Mitchell Swaback Gymnasium. In fact, I am using the verse on Mitch’s plaque outside our gymnasium as my motivation to train and run in the event, “I have fought the good fight, I HAVE FINISHED THE RACE, I have kept the faith.” II Timothy 4:7.
