Alexandrea Valentine

I never had the fortune of meeting Mitch, however I have heard from Jeff what an amazing person he was. I am honored to climb Mt. Shuksan in his memory. This climb will offer me a physical challenge that I have never experienced. I am excited for the training to succeed in this kind of feat, and am even more excited to look down at the earth from 9,000 feet up. Although I never met Mitch, the charity developed in his memory has and continues to do amazing things. MSC is helping build orphanages in Peru and is giving clean water to a village in Liberia. Growing up in America, it is hard to imagine that there are countries who can’t provide food and shelter for their children, and clean drinking water for their citizens. I am very passionate about helping those in developing countries and am so proud that I can be a part of an organization who has made this their mission.

Our Mission

Mitchell Swaback Charities was started October 15th, 2004. Our purpose is to continue to impact individuals, organizations and families as Mitch has done so many times. We want to continue Mitch's compassion to serve in missions, the church and to honor God in the way Mitch did on a daily basis. We will continue to form partnerships that will allow us to expand our ministry.

Through the many opportunities that surround us, we look forward to making a difference.

We will honor the Lord in all we do. Learn more >>

Mitch's Story

For 23 years our son Mitch etched memories into the hearts of everyone he met. He was as real as they come. What he meant to us and to so many others now belongs to the legacy we will cherish forever.

At Mitch's going-home service Pastor James MacDonald used one word that best described Mitch: "Maximum." Read more >>
