2007 Chicago Half Marathon: August Update

Runners Take Your Mark ...
We are just about to the half way point as 17 runners continue to train for this year's Half and Full Chicago Marathons. We're happy to announce that Jeff Harbeck recently joined in on the fun and committed to run the half marathon. So far all runners have raised about 20% of their fundraising goals! This is great news and encouragement for MSF!

However, why don't you think about sponsoring your favorite athlete today? Click on the link below to see profiles of each athlete, their monthly training journal entries, who has sponsored them thus far and how you can become a sponsor. We need you! Each athlete is campaigning on their own to raise funds, however, we'd like to use this eblast as a reminder to get involved!

To all our runners we wish you the best as your training continues and thank you again for partnering with MSF to take on such a huge commitment!

Our Mission

Mitchell Swaback Charities was started October 15th, 2004. Our purpose is to continue to impact individuals, organizations and families as Mitch has done so many times. We want to continue Mitch's compassion to serve in missions, the church and to honor God in the way Mitch did on a daily basis. We will continue to form partnerships that will allow us to expand our ministry.

Through the many opportunities that surround us, we look forward to making a difference.

We will honor the Lord in all we do. Learn more >>

Mitch's Story

For 23 years our son Mitch etched memories into the hearts of everyone he met. He was as real as they come. What he meant to us and to so many others now belongs to the legacy we will cherish forever.

At Mitch's going-home service Pastor James MacDonald used one word that best described Mitch: "Maximum." Read more >>
